Tonsley Park
The redevelopment of Tonsley Park will create a vibrant and integrated mixed-use employment precinct that will significantly grow the industrial and economic base of Southern Adelaide.
Combining social and economic opportunities with education, renewable energy and world-class community facilities, the site will become a hub for innovative companies working in environmental industries, sustainable technologies and advanced manufacturing.
The Master Plan is due for completion in early 2011 and will provide full development objectives, detailed spatial layout and infrastructure requirements, precinct plans and site development plans.
An Interim Report has been completed providing a policy framework to guide the development including market, economic and policy analysis.
A cornerstone of the redevelopment will be a Sustainable Industries Education Centre delivered through TAFE SA in collaboration with South Australian universities and industry.
